Savour the Flavour" cooking and culinary presentation competition
Savour the Flavour" cooking and culinary presentation competition was conducted for the students of XII Science and Commerce on 31st July 2025, Thursday at 10.30 am.
A culinary extravaganza, to showcase the creativity, culinary skills, and presentation talent of students. The event featured a range of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, which were prepared by students at home and brought to the college for a live presentation.
The event provided students with a platform to exhibit their passion for cooking, learn the art of food presentation, and explore the diverse flavors of cuisines. The competition was judged by honorable principal Dr. Biji G. Pillai, Primary HM. Mrs. Chaitali Londhe and Office supervisor Mrs. Manisha Prajapati.
The competition was fierce, but the winners emerged based on their outstanding culinary skills and impressive presentation:
- 1st Place: Mansi Chauhan (Commerce)
Mansi wowed the judges with her meticulously prepared Keto Burger, paired with a vibrant and colorful side salad. The balance of flavors, combined with an elegant presentation, earned her the top spot. - 2nd Place: Anushka Gaikwad (Science)
Anushka's Pinatta Cake stood out. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, while the plating was nothing short of a gourmet masterpiece. - 3rd Place: Parth Taru (Science) and Abhinandini Patil (Commerce)
Both Parth and Abhinandini secured third place with their impressive dishes. Parth’s Daaldhokli was a flavorful treat, and Abhinandini’s Daal Baati gave a traditional touch to the dish, both demonstrating exceptional skills in cooking and presentation.
The "Savour the Flavour" competition was a huge success, bringing together students to celebrate the joy of cooking and food art. The judges were thoroughly impressed with the talent and creativity shown by all participants, making the selection of winners a difficult task.
The event not only allowed students to showcase their culinary skills but also fostered a sense of companionship and healthy competition within the college. It was a delightful experience that encouraged students to experiment with flavors, textures, and visual artistry, reinforcing the importance of food as both a science and an art.

Trainer Mr. T.P. Vijayan Sir focused on the point that the holistic development beyond education is important for all students. Qualities like interest, integrity, and initiative must be developed in early life. The role of CMS was highlighted as a guiding force in students’ lives, supporting them in shaping their futures.
The session was an insightful and empowering experience for students, blending motivational guidance with practical academic advice. It stressed the importance of character development, goal setting, smart study techniques, mental resilience, and health awareness.
Students were encouraged to take ownership of their academic journey, stay focused and disciplined, and believe in their potential. With a structured approach and persistent effort, success in Class 12 and beyond is not only possible but highly achievable.
